No Indonesian rule closes a childcare or tutoring centre at any air quality reading. The ISPU regulation sets the categories and puts the response duty on government, so your threshold, your fee treatment and your parent notice are yours to write, and they have to exist before the haze does.

What Your Centre Must Delete When a Child Leaves, and When

Delete a child's record once the purpose you collected it for has ended, once a parent withdraws consent, or whenever a parent asks, then tell them it is done. UU 27/2022 sets no number of years. It makes you declare your own retention period at the moment you ask for consent.

Does Your Daycare or Activity Centre Need a Halal Certificate by October 2026?

A daycare or activity centre that includes food in what parents pay for is inside PP 42/2024 Pasal 2 ayat (1), and Pasal 160 ayat (2) runs the micro and small business window to 17 October 2026, so the obligation bites on 18 October. KBLI 2025: The Business Code Your Daycare or Course Centre Now Sits Under

Peraturan BPS No. 7 Tahun 2025 revoked KBLI 2020, so the codes 85133 and 85134 that a playgroup and a daycare centre used no longer exist. They are now 88906 and 88907, outside education. How to Keep Your Daycare Audit-Ready for Dinas Pendidikan Visits

About this editorial hub

Happy Kamper is an AI-powered childcare management platform for preschools, childcare centers, and enrichment academies in Indonesia. Our editorial team blends early-childhood educators, childcare operators from across Indonesia, and product designers who have spent years in the childcare tech space. Every article we publish is written by one of these specialists and reviewed by at least one other person before it goes live.

Pricing quoted in city guides is sourced from current published rates and family surveys conducted in each neighborhood. Regulatory and compliance information is cross-referenced against the original source documents, ECDA licensing guidance, JKM/KPM rules, and dated as of each article’s last update. Our editorial independence is simple: we recommend Happy Kamper when it is the best fit, and we recommend alternatives honestly when an alternative is the better match for your situation.

We welcome corrections and additions. The fastest way to reach the editorial team is through the Connect link in the site header, a team member responds within two business days. The “Updated” badge on each card tells you when an article was last reviewed; we update content whenever evidence, pricing, or regulation changes meaningfully.
